T S Krishnamurthy holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and has more than 30 years of experience in Various Engineering disciplines broadly enveloping Automotive and Aerospace Sector.
Beginning his career with ISRO, he worked as a Structural Engineering Design and Development Scientist/Engineer in Mechanical Systems area for 15 years. His specialisation is in the area of Design, Analysis and Verification and Validation of Structures and systems under Dynamic, Static and Shock loads. He later moved to Private sector and worked extensively in Automotive Design and Development arena with a number of companies-Vice President, Mechanical, Product Engineering Services, Wipro Technologies, Vice President, Integrated Engineering Services, Sathyam- on aspects that include multiple assignments in Automotive domain. Working from Munich, he headed the Technical coordinating functions for companies such as Audi, Mercedes etc. He is a Distinguished Visiting Professor at the Indian National Academy of Engineering, an active member of NASSCOM’s Engineering Forum and lifetime member of the Aeronautical Society of India.
